Minehole

Hi
Is it possible to build a minehole above a mined place (mined tiles) and enter that place trough that minehole - if there are no obstacles below?

I'm pretty sure it only works with solid rock underneath.

This then raises some interesting questions. What if a person starts construction on a mine hole, but the tiles underneath are mined out before construction is complete? What if a building of some sort is constructed right where the ladder would be?

I'm starting my hermitage again from scratch, so I can't test this stuff out myself. ;.;

It checks when the minehole is built if theres room beneath as far as i can tell. So mining out the tiles would fuck it up i think

it lets you place a minehole if the land below it is mined out but it SHOULDNT actually allow it to be built
