A Puzzled Centurion

Postby Centurion » Fri Mar 09, 2012 10:24 am

Good morning fellow Hearthlings,

I have a few questions i can't seem to find answers to,
So i turn to you.

Questions,

1 - If i catch 2 rabbits, and put them in a room, will they breed ?

2 - How does the Dowsing Rod work ? (If i stand still for abit, I get a Purple Pie chart, which direction should i move in ?)

3 - Feeding on Rabbit meat, and Ant Larvae, is that bad for my character ? As i have no means of any other food types at the moment.

4 - How do you fill up a Waterskin ? (I think i just threw mine into the River...)

Thank you,
Kind regards,

Centurion

1) Nope
2) Just walk around with it until you see water puddles. Ideally the closer to a spot where a well can be built, the smaller the pie slice gets to point you in the right direction.
3) Not bad at all, stay well fed my friend~!
4) Left click the waterskin out of your inventory. When it is in your hand, right click the water source. Left click it back into your inventory. It is now full of water.

Thank you TechXKnight.

Just to add another Question,

Q - Fishing, I can't seem to find any jumping fish near shore, should i get the building boat skill ? And construct one ? Or just keep searching ?

Thanks again.

Even without the desire to go fishing boat building is a great skill to get. Definitely construct a boat and broaden your horizons.

Okay, Thank you again.

Then i guess its all about Hunting Rabbits and Raiding Ant Hills for awhile.
Have to give a thumbs up to Enders Client though, its made this game for me.

Q - If i leave food on my table for feasting, will it eventually decay ? And is it better to feast, than eat out of my Inventory ?

Thank you.

Food will never decay, it will only be stolen. If you need to fill up hunger, eat it out of your inventory. Tables make food fill up less of your meter.

Thank you for the quick answer.

Though i dont understand why feasting would fill up less of your hunger, doesnt make sense to me.

Purely mechanical reasons. Players with abundant food want to eat more so that they can gain more stats. =)

Correct. Anyone and everyone can enter it without leaving criminal scents. Only wall gates and lockboxes give you keys.
