My charactor is invisable

When i logged on this morning after leaving my char out all night i came back to log in screen.I found that my charactor was missing from my charactor selection screen. After getting over the fact that my chaactor was dead i made a new one.Until i discovered that i couldn't rename may old charactor the name my old charactor now i thought this was a minor glitch so i went with a new name but when i spawned on a friend whose HS i had on a peace of paper i found my claim intact can anyone explain this mistory and perhaps fix it??

If you die, your stake claim remains, after inheriting the dead char you will get his stats and ability to declaim your old plot, you will get the LP from the claim back too.
You can't rename your character like it was before you died.

When you made your new character, did you inherit from the old one (by clicking 'Inherit' on the runestone in the character creation room)?

If you didn't do that, make another new character and inherit. Don't worry about the HS, just go up the ladder - as an inheriting character, you will spawn off your old hf. You will have your old claim, and be able to keep it or declaim it as you choose.

If you already inherited, with the character who spawned off your friend's HS, you still have access to your claim. This is normal.

The usual theory about this is that you have probably forgotten your own username, and are not in fact dead, just on a different account
It would not be the first time someone has done this. Remember that capital letters are important. Otherwise, idk what was going on with this rollback thing, idk if that could have affected anything, but probably not.
