how the FEP system exactly works?

Postby Binoz » Thu Oct 08, 2009 8:50 am

I'm trying to figure out how the fep system works and i have many questions:

- Every time you gain a point in a stat, the points needed to gain another point are increased by 1. Is there an upper limit?
- Every time you eat food, the fep bar get an amount of points depending on the food quality and type, and the type of points (ex. consitution, perception etc..) depends on the food type. What if i eat several type of food ( 6/13 Constitution, 7/13 Perception)? Do i get 1 point for each stat or i get 1 point only in the higher stat (perception in the example above)? Is there a minimum amount of points needed to raise stat?

No, the FEP(Food event points) needed to increase any stat is equal to your highest stat.
So if you have a stat at 41 and the rest are lower or equal to that amount, you need 41 FEPs to experience another food event.

- Every time you eat food, the fep bar get an amount of points depending on the food quality and type, and the type of points (ex. consitution, perception etc..) depends on the food type. When the bar is filled, the game randomly chooses what from what types of attributes are in the bar.
So if the bar is 20 strength FEP, 10 Dex FEP, and 20 CON FEP, and the bar needs 50 FEP points total. You have a 40% chance of increasing strength, a 40% chance of increasing constitution, and a 20% chance of increasing dexterity. You only get 1 point per filled bar, and that bar is reset once a food event happens.

In your case, You have a ~46% chance of getting Constitution, and a ~54% chance of getting Perception.
You see a masterful engraving by Blaze. On it is Blaze, bears, boars, and foxes. Blaze is striking down the bears. The boars are screaming. The foxes are in a fetal position. The image relates to the return of Blaze in the late winter of 2009.
