Inherit not working?

I died for the first time today and i tried using inherit to get my points back, but i didnt get any.

I also cant pick up my backpack from my body

Just hit the buy button and they'll appear.

oh thanks, hardly got any though, 2k from having yeomanry and all this other crap, wish it were more forgiving. might just make a new account to rediscover crap for the Lp :|

You don't have to make a new account, just make a new character without inheriting anything.
