How do I find my coordinates?

Postby ArtemisGray » Wed Mar 21, 2012 11:53 am

I can't find an answer on google or anywhere. I'm using Ender's client but I can't seem to see anything that displays the 4 numbers... :|

The most common way is to look for a characteristic terrain features around you and then compare them to the map (mountains and sand beaches are most distinguishable). Appart from that if you get a map-uploading tool (i don't have a link, you'd need to search for it) it will give you feedback into what grid your map was uploaded. Ender's on it's own does not provide you with that info.

Thank you very much. I know what the terrain around me is like but I can't seem to find anything that stands out such as a mountain. Maybe I'll have to look around a bit more.

Cheers.

No mountains/thickets nearby? Grab a boat, scout few rivers, use stitching programs to make yourself a local map and you'll find yourself on the global map in no time. Oddly shaped lakes, sand beaches, odd swamps and almost everything else can be used to find yourself on the map.
