Looting dead player - scent?

Hey,

In my wandering I've found a couple of dead bodies that haven't decayed yet, if I were to use the theft skill on the corpse, would it leave a Reek of Theft scent?

Yes it would, Living or dead, you will always leave a scent when stealing.

Are you seriously asking if using the skill theft will leave theft scents?

I mean, there is a reason why you need the theft skill to be able to use theft on corpses...

Thanks. I expected that would be the case but it never hurts to ask

However, if you are patient enough you can wait until the body decays into a skeleton and that players items will fall on the ground around them.
