Quick story, with questions after.

Postby Facekillz058 » Wed Apr 04, 2012 9:19 pm

So, i was playing with one of my friends, had hopped in a boat with him to kill a bear.
I was about to sent a stone flying when:
MY game wouldn't do anything, it wasn't lag, as all my windows still opened instantly.
Now I get stuck on Authenticating, whenever i log in, with my main account and my towns key alt.
Skip to questions:
1. What exactly happened?
2. Why can't i log in?
3. Can't be internet problems, and my firewall is off.
4. I use ender's, if it matters at all here, even though i can't log in with the default client either.
5. btw, how screwed is my character if it happened while i was in a boat?

Try deleting belts_characternameyouaretryingtologon.conf as sometimes those are responsible for problem.

1. Always check the Home page when having login issues. At the bottom of the page is the server status.

2. What client are you using? If using the default client, you might need to clear out your Java cache and download again. (You might get by with deleting specific files, but I'm not going to attempt to tell you which or where to find them because I'm entirely sure where to direct you.)(

3. If you're using the vanilla client, try using the third party client from EnderWiggin. You can get it here.

FYI, that "belts" thing is only an issue with some of the custom clients as they don't necessarily manage belts from one character to the next properly.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.
