What MODs are these? (red squares and auto-moving)

Postby Bonds » Tue May 01, 2012 12:41 pm

Welcome,

I have two questions - I use Ender client and I'd like to get to know two things.
1) What MOD is that? I mean the red squares. I know how to turn off the viability of trees and objects, but how can one turn on red squares that show the position of certain objects (I wouldn't like to run into a tree while running for my life!)

2) Am I mistaken or is that guy using a MOD that finds path for his character? If I am not, then I'd LOVE to know what MOD is that.

These are both Ender's features.

Turn on red squares in the menu under [X]tended -> [S]how Hidden
Turn on the pathing lines by checking a box labeled "player path" in the Options->General
You may also be interested in checking "gob path" which is also in Options->General - it will show you the pathing lines of animals and other players.

If you don't have these options, your Ender's client is terribly out of date and you should update it.

My Ender clinet is the latest one (I've downloaded it form here: http://www.mediafire.com/hnh_ender and updated it) andI haven't got the "player path" option. I have the option "show human gob path", I can see my path, but my character is not auto-moving. I mean that the client is not looking for his path. I have to click and choose the path.

Sounds like you downloaded the client but not the updater, http://www.mediafire.com/?4niamh4a8dp3bit download this and place into your enders folder, If this doesn't work then I'm not sure what the problem is.

I believe you need to click the "X-tended"? button. It looks like a red cross I think. There is the option to hide trees/walls, other stuff there.

The options appearing in the X-tended menu are accessed all the same through the options page.

C'mon, guys, read the f... thread. The first problem has been solved in the third post, now I am facing the "auto-moving". I still don't know whether it is possible to let the client look for the path.
