You cant check the q of an already made table.

Don't know why you think you can't check it. There's no direct tooltip to give the information, but you can use items to test what the quality is just like you do for anything else used to process goods.

Best way I've found is to simply use wheat, tobacco, hemp buds, etc. Tables softcap the quality of these items, so if they come out lower than what you put them on, you can do the simple math and get the table quality.

Thanks for reply but I need something like this:
To calculate kiln quality when it is already built you need to make coal in it then Qkiln = 4*Qcoal -2*Qwood - Qfuel

It's a simple softcap:

Final Q = (Start Q + softcap attribute) / 2. In this case, the softcap attribute would be the quality of the table. you would know the final Q and start Q. Easy algebra that even my 6th grade son can do.

Not sure this would work. I get the impression that the herbalist's table can also increase the quality of products you put on it. One good example is tea leaves, I used to use Q40~ tea leaves on a Q156 herbalist's table to get Q over 100 black tea leaves. One thing that herbalist's tables definitely don't affect the quality, though, except for softcapping is silkmoth eggs. I would have to run tests on other items to find out which ones are affected and which ones aren't... (even windsown seeds can get their quality increased by the table).

The Ql of table affects the quality of products fully. (can improve)
Just put WWW on it.

What is the formula, though? Because I think it varies according to what you put in it.

For intance, putting Q40-50 WWWs on the same Q156 herbalist's table gave me only Q60~ seeds. In order to find out the quality of the table with any accuracy, there has to be an exact formula for one specific product. I could try to run some tests and figure some formula out, but I am kinda lazy right now... hehehe.

Tea leaves take the direct average of the fresh (or green) tea leaf and that of the table.
I.E. :

Q GreenTeaLeaf = Floor(QTable + QFreshTeaLeaf)/2
Q BlackTeaLeaf = Floor(QTable + QGreenTeaLeaf)/2

Floor meaning rounded down to the nearest integer.

If you have 2 leaves. one odd and one even in quality, you can deduct the exact quality.

Example:
First experiment, Q11 leaf giving Q34 output. Using the above formula, the table quality is either 57 or 58 (the 0.5 from Q58 would get removed by rounding)
Second experiment, lets say we use a Q14 leaf. The output will either be 35 if the table is Q57, or 36 if the table is Q56

Fresh Tea Leaves are also great for determining this due to their very short drying time on a table. Hope this helps.

If you can't yourself use this experiment to figure out the table's quality, post the input quality and output quality of an odd and even quality leaf and I can for you.
