Harvesting while keeping the keys safe

Postby pablet » Sun May 13, 2012 1:10 pm

He guys, me and my friend just bought a nice palisade on a big terrain and claimed it. We got many things inside but when we want to harvest we cant just tell each other to open the door to keep the keys inside so we made 2 alts to go foragging.

My question is, how can I go foragging and put the items inside without danger of losing the keys? Do I even need to open the gates? thanks!

Best way to do this is to create a village idol and then make a crossroads system so that you do not have to use your keys at all. (Always keep your keys on a key alt and keep it inside)

You can make two accounts so u can log on both at the same time.

also, you can have another account that is just for a character who keeps all your keys.

when you leave(while using a modified client like endor's) you can hide everything and zoom out to make sure nobody is hiding in ambush. and when you come back you can do the same thing. then never let the key character out of the palli. and never have a HS on it.

build a village idol and crossroads. never open the gate. put the key on a separate character from all others.

if you don't have the materials to build crossroads, here's what you can do - take your foraging alts and load them up with wine and wine glasses, and put their hearth fires outside. want to go outside? travel to hearth fire. want to go home? travel to village (this is why you need wine). this way you can go get outside stuff and never have to send your main characters outside or open the gate.
