first major death what to do after inherit

long story short:
jumped by a bear hiding behind a few trees almost got to water when lag spike hit when it came back bear had landed about four hits on me in one second...

i gess thats how it goes

anyways whats my best route of action i'm not planing on rage quiting and have a good supply of boar and ironicly bear meat
i have some curios and a friend more than simthetic to give me some more if i ran out i disclaimed and handed over ownership to friend although i lost the hs of many friends

anyone have any tips on what eles to do?

1. this is why people use enders

2. when you inherit you get (assuming you were full change) 25% of your lp SPENT ON SKILLS and 25% of your stats, after you inherit just go ahead and grab all the skills you need to get back on your feet and start getting back to whatever it is you were doing before you died

i'm still reluctant to use enders but no i was full change unfortunantly i felt the full force of my choice
is that all i can realy do?

and to thing if i hadn't stayed up at two o'clock in the morning poor josh would still be happily picking away at the walls of my tin mine

i know that this isn't the first time i've died it's just the first time i lost a charactor that i spent a sizable amount of time on 70+ hours so yes this has had a sizeable impact on me

and yes hazzor i saw your 'to learn on your feet you have to die on your knees video

also you've yet to give me advise on how to recover more quickly from dieing

Well, really what can you do besides spend the time to get your belief sliders back to what you want, gather some curios and food and get yourself back to where you were? there isn't much more you can do besides that.

Don't give up, really this is a great game. You learn something new all the time, especially when you get killed. It''s harsh I know, but try your best to find something positive out of your death.

Got killed by a bear? were not using Ender's client? use Ender's next time. That particular problem is now no longer going to be an issue.

Slam down int food, fill your mentory with curios, drink wine if you need that int bonus. Get your skills up to whatever they need to be to function at your job. Maybe put less of your eggs in one basket and invest time in making a mining alt, a hunting alt, and a foraging alt. Really it's pretty simple though. You play the game but with just lower stats than you had before your death. Upward motion is kind of natural in Haven, just go with it and you will find your way back in no time at all.
