Wax

Postby Fenix025 » Sun May 20, 2012 12:53 pm

Hi to all.

I've read a lot about wax, but i'm not able to get it in a regulat way.
My plants are abou 70-80 q, but I barely never get it. I cover all my farm with beehives, but without interfering in other beehives radius, so every beehive cover his own plants. I've read also the wiki and i know about the speed of plants etc, but i allways get honey but no wax.

Any recomendation? For me its beeing easyer to get steel than wax.

Thanks for advance

Fill your whole bee-hive radius with plants

It sounds like your doing it right, I read that plants with more changes than others are good for producing wax. Such as carrots and hemp plants. Alternativly get one of you alts to a high perception and exploration and hang around swamps for candle berries. Do you empty out honey as soon as it is present in your hives? Try letting build up.

I'm fairly sure that everytime a crop within the radius of a hive grows a bit, the hive has a chance of producing honey or wax.

The more crops within the radius of the hive, the more wax you get.

If you're desperate for it, fill the entire radius of a hive with a fast growing crop like carrots or beetroot. Wax out the wazoo if you constantly replant them.
