Secondly, they are very rare, they look like a little red crack on the ground, so they aren't like chantrelles when it comes to seeing them behind forest's shrubbery and trees. They are VERY hard to see.
After all this time you're still a dumbass noob? Wow. Anyway. The wiki is NOT wrong..at least about this. It IS 20/20 The thing is that you just don't magically see all the rustroot by getting a certain stat. The more you have the more you see. I cant cross a minimap without seeing 2-3 anymore. @ 20/20 you're going to see one if you pay very good attention and cover a LOT of ground. It is the bare minimum, as such you aren't going to find very many. You're best bet is just to buy it from peopel that can find it much mroe easily and would sell it for item that would help increase their settlement on the mine they currently own. Like, say linen. I'd sell you linen for rustroot at 1:1 assuming you buy at least 16, which, btwe is about how many you'll need at least if you go far enough out to find unclaimed mines. Each rustroot gives 4 prospects, that's 64 prospects, or 6.4 jars worth.
Well what is this that I can't see
With ice cold hands takin' hold of me
Well I am death, none can excel
