New Minehole - "occupied" questions

Postby dariun » Thu May 24, 2012 12:15 am

Hi all

I recently built a new minehole but found that I can not enter the mine as it is "occupied".

I take it that this means there is either a cave below or already mined out/claimed land below?

If so, would the "landing area" still show up underneath the surface area allowing people who come across my minehole underground to enter my plot via the minehole?

Thanks for your help!

hi, yes - solution:

put build signs close around your minehole that way noone can use the ladder upwards to your place, you can make a palli or bw ltr around it too...

AFAIK occupied can also mean someone did the same at the underground of your minehole

is there no way to destroy the minehole?

I've posted directly around the minehole but cant wall it in because of where its positioned on my plot :(

As long as the minehole has the tiles around it occupied by something with a hitbox, it should be block. You can test this by going to the bottom of the mine hole and try to access the surface (this does mean you have to mine your way towards the bottom shaft though).

And there is absolutely no way to destroy a mine-hole.
