I want to know is it better to use a 15q sling and 30MMS, or a 10q bow with the same amount of MMS.

Sling is more ideal for your level. The range charge speed is significantly faster and ammo is much easier to obtain.

In my opinion it's not worth it until you have at least a q25 bow and 50 MM.

Default stone arrows (q10 stone + q10 branch) is only q10. It will limit your effective MM by 20 event if you have 100500 and bow q100. In this case you will aim too slowly. So better use bone arrows from deer or bear bones (q55+).

But while your MM is low (less than 70-80) better to use sling (quality not less then half of your MM).

The point was that with q10 ammo you only use 20 MM. Effective MM is equal to 2x the quality of the ranged weapon you are using and the arrows that you are using. With the exception of the sling which is not limited by its stones.

Half your MM. If you have 100 MM, then use q50 arrows. If you only have 50, you only need q25.

Honestly, bows are really only useful once you can consistently kill a deer or boar in one shot. Otherwise, they just run on the first shot instead of the 4th.
