So I were able to pick curios off claim with mere tresspassing.
Does it mean i only left tresspass scents?

That's a vandalism scent. If you don't have vandalism then I'm pretty sure you weren't foraging something up from claimed land. If you were just picking an item off the ground, that'd be theft. A village claim with no authority left would not leave any scents.

No, picking up a curio on claimed land only leaves trespassing. Farming or damaging the land would leave vandal, and stealing something would leave theft.

Yep, I can also confirm what Mvpeh said. I have foraged on claimed land with only trespassing skill a few times (and before I bought trespassing I could not do it).

Just checked, it leaves no scents at all. (I used ranging)

You don't leave scents. Only when entering the land. Or if you're in a boat, you don't leave any scents at all.
