If i keep animals i find like rabbits rats and frogs in my house or fenced in will they despawn, or can i keep them in my house like a pet?

Once you are logged off for a certain amount of time the animal will despawn. Or if the server decides to reset then again the animals will be lost.

Oh thanks for the help, I have 2 crates of rabbits about 9 of them, after figuring out they cant breed from another thread I figured it be nice to have some friendly faces to greet me. Also i probably would have eaten them as a last resort. lol

If you keep them in crates they'll persist but starve to death. You'll be greeted by their lifeless stares.

Frogs and rats don't starve, so those could be options as pets (to keep in storage).

Rocks don't starve, and they're the best pets ever.
