Taming reset

Postby Mateusz_Zboj » Sat May 26, 2012 10:06 pm

My friend's tame count gets reset.
What is he possibly doing wrong?

He uses deagro and attack different animal methode.
He only uses tame on single animal.

I don't know... back when I was taming some animals, I had 2 animals at 80 and they suddenly decided to reset the count for no apparent reason. That only happened once, gladly (even though I tamed 8 animals at the time and was using the exact same method/procedure all along). As long as they don't enter any buildings/caves/etc. the count shouldn't reset (at least most of the time).

Hope it helps. Good luck.

The procedure he explained should work. I have used it myself (on the second day I was taming animals... before that I was waiting for them to reagro). But anyway, from what I gather they are using quell the beast in one animal, then deagroing them all, then attacking a different one, which causes the one you are taming to reagro you. Then you use quell the beast on it. If that's what they are doing, that should work.
