Heyya I have 32 Marksmanship, a q30 bow and q30 arrows. Is it a good time to start bow hunting?

Nah, I'd get around 150~ marksmen before I touched a bow. Sling is faster and rocks are easier to get at your stage, anyways.

That number might be a bit high, though.
My son, walk not in the way unarmed; because thou knowest not when thy enemy shall come upon thee.

I have heard about 60 mm is a good number, but sling is a pretty good option even beyond that, especially if you can get a good quality one

Raise your MM to 60 for this bow and arrows. And you can hunt with not bad aiming speed.
When craft Bow, it softcapped by crafter's MM.

simply yes - you just need more patience with that low MM

I don't think bow is ever better than sling, because backpack and travel sack.

But stones and less damage.

Hunt on wagon and no problem with space. =)
Wagon speed nice and same at forest, swamp, etc.

Also, if you shoot from wagon and animal still alive, usually animal stuck in objects (trees, stones). If not stuck, you can drive wagon away... But usually stuck. =)
Also, in deep terrain hunter can meet more game than from boat at river. =)

Meh, who needs damage, just make them run so they turn docile, and then sword them.

Bow hunting is a very selective thing, usually done because of individual choice rather than advantage in some sense, similar to how pure MC fighters are few and far between (not looking down on MC fighters, the unorthodox strategy is quite admirable actually).

For hunting in general, unless you have stats in unarmed combat/melee combat, you will probably want to stick to a sling for the most part. Bows aim slower, and also have the disadvantage of less space.

Personally, I do enjoy bow hunting. I'd have a good quality sharp tool on hand, 2 LCs in my boat, a backpack and 2 traveller's sacks ready and I'd be wearing a merchant's robe. With this setup as long as you can manage the logistics of constantly changing around your equipment setup every kill, you can go out on a hunting trip and return decently fast.

Again, it is more work and the time it saves is minimal, so my advice to you is to stick to sling hunting, and if you are interested in experimenting, do it yourself and find out what works for you. Best of luck
