Can H&H be played on a PS3?

I was wondering if there's a way to get H&H working on my PS3 without excessive hassle. On my PS3's web browser, I logged in and clicked the button to play H&H. It told me to plug in a storage device or something, so I stuck my USB memory stick in. autohaven was downloaded to my memory stick and that was the end of my progress. Granted, the server is down right now, but I would think it might make it as far as the title/character screen (assuming it would work).

Has anyone played H&H on their PS3? Might this be possible if I have a portable version of H&H on my memory stick? I vaguely read something about needing to install Linux on the PS3 to be able to play java games... or something of that nature. Any Linux people here know if I could run a portable version of Linux and go from there? Any help appreciated.

I can't give you a good answer, but the PS3 web browser hasn't been updated in years and has problems doing a LOT of things.

I seriously doubt it would work.

Won't work, had a similar idea for playing runescape on PS3, but the java on the ps3 is outdated and probably will never be updated, making playing games from sites impossible. Also, downloading a game and putting it on a memory stick isn't going to work as you won't be able to install any of the files, probably could have back when you could use OtherOS

Unless you want to pull a geohot and jailbreak your ps3(not recommended)

Free online game play. Or at least that's my reason, also because of PS3 Exclusives.

You'd be suprised what games people have played ps3 back when you could boot up linux/ubuntu ect on it, you can just plug in a mouse/keyboard into the USB ports.

Although I also see no real point in playing it on PS3 as I have a working computer, and it wouldn't be worth the hassle to play it on ps3.

I think the motive is to want to enjoy the game play on a large tv screen instead of a computer screen.

Most half-modern computer video cards do have a HDMI port, though. :)
