Tablets.....and lag?

Postby dariun » Sun Jun 10, 2012 7:55 pm

Hi all

Just wondering if HnH is playable on Tablets with and without usb ports? Thinking about getting a tablet and was wondering if I could still play HnH on it

Also, is it just more or does the lag make this game barely playable now? Before crashing several times the other day the lag wasn't so bad but now it seems like it happens every 30 seconds and lasts for about 15 seconds. I used to farm when it was laggy but now I cna barely do that!

The lag has gotten worse since the server update. It seems to fluctuate a lot. Right now I'm harvesting my crops without any issues except the occasional lag for a few seconds. Earlier today the game was pretty much unplayable, I couldn't even walk across the screen without it glitching everywhere.

You can install a program on your tablet that lets you control your desktop computer via the tablet. So load up H&H on your PC and play it on your tablet.

That said, I doubt it would be that enjoyable of an experience given the control scheme.

HnH could be potentially hacked to run on any of the Java tablet/phone OSes (Android, Blackberry, Palm, others), but it'd take a massive rewrite to get it to run on an iPhone or Windows Phone (does anyone even own a phone that runs it?)

I used to collect/chop wood and bring it back to my base on my iPhone on hnh. I connected my iphone with my pc using teamviewer. It worked quite good but, I could basically do anything but I will always prefer a pc. Though I never went far away from my base while playing on my phone.

Well, if you want to use Remote Desktop software, you can run any program on any device that supports the remote connection as long as you can connect to another device that runs the desired program. It's got limitations, though, can be very laggy, and in some cases, very limiting. It's definitely not the same as having the code run natively on the device.

TeamViewer works pretty good for it, especially if both devices are connected to the same network. The only lag you would experience would be from your device or the server itself.

How much RAM do these things have? H&H can be a real hog.
