Does bed QL matter in terms of TW removal? Just curious.

Nobody has done any real research on it since wine/beer is the most popular means of removing TW. After all, it doesn't really matter unless you're in a village and using crossroad or totem travel.

would one also assume better beds such as a sturdy bed is better than a spruce bed?

The q matters - a high q spruce or straw bed is better then a low q sturdy - from my experience

I found this tid-bit under 'Fast Travel' on the wiki.

"The different types and better quality beds will reduce weariness faster while logged out."
