Palisade before brickwall.

Is placing palisade before brickwall dangerous?
Some people claim it is, just wanted to know since my village appears to have such.

A palibasher can bash up part of your wall, then use those wall to create cornerpost and create an encasing around their offensive ram to ram your village. This is less of a problem if you have a palibasher yourself but still a hassle. It is why people recommend surrounding your brickwall over your palisade instead of building the brickwall inside the palisade.
