Drinking wine doesn't reduce TW.

Postby dafels » Sat Jul 07, 2012 12:24 am

I have q41 wine, and I have 30 agility, and ALL of my armours off.
When I drink, it doesn't reduce TW even for 1%.
Before, When I started playing in this world, I had q4 wine and 10 agility, and it reduced TW back then.
Why doesn't it reduce the TW?

That's a visual bug, if I recall correctly. Restart your client and try drinking wine again.

Sometimes, after porting to my HF when my TW is near-full, I drink wine to no effect but the wine begins working after a couple glasses.
This leads me to believe that under some circumstances TW can be higher than 100%

It doesn't help the confusion when there are graphical bugs related to TW as well =/

Take off your armor first. It's setting you down to very few, if not 1 agi.

I was under the impression that agjility didn't affect TW when drinking wine, only the quality of the wine mattered

No, but the amount of Agi the character has effects the amount of the bar that is shown. It IS possible to exceed 100%, and by a very large amount. I can't really tell if TW is stored as a raw Integer or as a percentage. Either way, drinking wine seems to decrease it by a percentage per cycle based on quality. When in doubt: drink more wine. It's quite possible you have an excessively overloaded TW penalty from something, and it might have gotten bugged.
