Wall Decay Damage

Do anyone know how much damage does the "decay" do to palisades and bwall in a unclaimed area?
and in every what time does it do the damage to the wall?

Decay ticks are random and can happen in an hour or in a month. I think the amount of damage that a tick does is consistent but I do not know how much it is. I've seen palisades decay within just three days time before. I've also seen wall sections standing after months of inactivity.
