After you clicked the HnH Play Button on top of webpage a window should appear asking you what to do - choose "Open" ( aprire) with (con) "Java Web Start Launcher" - after that it downloads the "authaven.jnlp" file which automaticly opens a Java window and start downloading the needed files.

In the process of downloading there might be pauses which is normal...depending on your internet connection it might take some time...after download is finished it should start the game window... there might be programs like firewalls or antivirus blocking too - that's something you have to look after yourself...

the Ender custom client mentioned in url Arcanist posted is better than the default web client and gets locally installed on your PC, but before you'll try you should have had the default client running once sucessfully first...
