Best way to find underground co-ords?

I'm on lvl 4 and need to find my co-ords? best way of doing this? not including counting out endergrids on the world map as I don't know the co-ords of where I got into this mess.

personally i'd try to compare grids on surface with grids at lvl4 using minimapgrids if i don't want to use worldmap, or depending of the amounts and the development of chars with scents and tracking ... (?!?)

Scenting proves a problem as I'm 2 or 3 hours walk underground and don't really want to go all that way back to drop a scent. And the minimap was my first thought, but it's rather complicated by the fact that to get to the tunnel I took an x road to unknown lvl2 co-ords and walked a very twisty and indirect route to level 4, So thats quite near impossible, or at least enormously tedious to do. I guess unless I have an epiphany overnight I shall do the scents, Thanks Borka- Nice to see you're still here stalking the How do I
