Becoming Lawspeaker?

Postby cgpice » Thu Oct 25, 2012 11:49 pm

So there's a village idol and a personal claim, I was told that having vandalism was all that was needed to become lawspeaker was I told wrong? I'm right clicking the idol and nothing is happening, I'v repaired the idol thinking that might be the issue?

No....it's not that simple, you need Lawspeaking to take control of an idol and the idol can't already have a lawspeaker

I have lawspeaker, and the village is highly inactive with no authority, so I should in fact be able to become lawspeaker correct?

No, not unless the original LS is dead. But you can break the idol if you so wish.

I think you can claim LS off of an inactive idol as long as only the lawspeaker was oathed to the village.

Updated the wiki. I did some grammatical errors, would be nice if someone with better English to help correct it.

before we go over grammar we need to fact check some stuff:

If and only if a village has no members in it can anyone not a member of that village become the Lawspeaker of that village. Right click from visible range and become one. If the village has more then 50k authority trespass skill is needed and criminal acts needs to be turned on, although no sents are left taking over the empty village as described. Of course the person attempting to become Lawspeaker of a empty village can not be a Lawspeaker of another village.

are you 100% sure on that? with no authority and 1 villager(not LS) shouldn't anyone still be able to take it over?
