Uh. First Aid?

Okay, quick question that's isn't really newbish, just that its not working properly, or for some reason I'm not doing it right.

Apparently, you can apply a gauze to other people, I've seen it happen, to me several times too after those nasty scrapes with foxes.

The skills text says you can apply First Aid, to others and yourself.

Well I can't seem to apply it to myself.

Is anyone else having trouble doing so, or is this a bug?

Normally you click the gauze to pick it up, then right click yourself (or another person), which pops up a button which says "Treat Head" - and then you click that.
