Making your character figure out how to make a palisade

Postby Gary458 » Sun Dec 16, 2012 5:11 pm

As the topic states, I know myself how to build a palisade but my character doesn't seem to understand it.
I have done the following:
Bought Yeomanry
Created bone glue
Crafted rope
Made leather.

Please help by responding, thanks

The best thing I can suggest is go through each item needed and make sure that you discovered them:

Block: remove a stump or turn a log into blocks
Make another bone glue
pull leather from a tanning tub
gather 10 strings and make another rope

Also make sure you have skills like carpentry and lumberjacking just in case.

Or buy all the items from a barter stand.

Do barter stands allow you to discover the item when taking it off of it?

As long as the character that is taking it off is not the character who put the stuff on the stand to begin with.

plow (needs plow), pave (needs Stoneworking), make Pallisade CP (needs to have discovered block of wood, rope, boneglue, leather yourself)...

Thanks for the responses, but nothing is working... I guess I'll just go back to the trying everything again

Wrong.

btw, if a barter stand is empty, anyone can take control of it by putting an item in, so you can cut out having one alt for controlling the stand, making it better than vending stands.

You do get discovery from clicking items onto a barter stand then off.

Anyone can use a barter stand as long as barter prices are not set or another has placed an item on it.
