I have read that the final stage of a tree requires a decay hit. Is it better to grow your trees outside a p claim? I am assuming that claims provide some protection from decay thus making the trees take longer to hit the final stage.
Can you take branches from a tree before it is in its final stage? I've seen mixed answers on this topic.

You can grow your trees on claims without fear it will delay growth. Decay hits are not set. If I understand it correctly every time it cycles it has a chance to happen. So at best you could age at fastest speed or at worst never.

You may take branches from any stage. They will regrow with a decay hit or growth stage.

Highest q trees for W6? I know they are above 150's but how high I don't know.
