Thats not really what i mean, i red that and thats about the server, if it was the server i wouldnt be able to connect to the server form home at my ordinary laptop.
So from the conclusion that i can connect from home with that laptop, and not with this one it can't be the server.
what i am suspecting is that i need to port forward? but im unsure which port HnH is using, or java in general for that part.

Also when i try to log in both on vanilla client and on the Ender modified one, all that happends after i login is "authenticating" for 10-15~ seconds,
Then i get "Connection timed out: Connect" and as said in previous post, i tried both clients on my other laptop, which where they worked just fine (except the server lag you mentioned)

Ports for HnH are TCP 1871 and UDP 1870

check system firewall + Internet security / antivirus programm- maybe you have more restrictive settings on that laptop ?

normally you'd just have to do exceptions for each of both ports...

if the "school laptop" is school owned and administrated by school there might be a restrictive watchdog program running in the back from a "hidden" account (?!?)

Thank you :P
I'm not sure if i managed to do it, since im now home with the school laptop and the other laptop.
And now both works just fine, i would guess its something with that they blocked those ports on the school internet?
Also im able to connect to steam, download games form steam and do everything else like normal, this is the first problem game-wise i've had with it (able to do all that in school)
So im unsure what it can be and if its something i can do anything about..
But thank you for an answer :D

ask the schools network admin if the ports are blocked (or Java? )
