How do I get off a boat?!?!

How? Not the same button click as getting on the boat. Stuck!!!

I can't right click the boat, my character, the shore, or anything I can think of. Left clicking all of that stuff does nothing.

Somebody Help me!

Thank you very much for the ridiculously quick response!
I was staring at some plant I could pick that I've never seen before, but couldn't get out of the boat to pick it. I assumed the exit controls would be as intuitive as boarding.
I have to say the forum community support for this game is great, even though I've never seen another player in-game... The rest of you must be out there somewhere!

Rest assured, at some point you'll see another player.
Then after that encounter you'll spend the rest of your days trying to avoid seeing another player
