Hermit and LP Skills

Postby KuroAisu » Fri Mar 15, 2013 5:42 pm

Hi,

trying to write this as lagging!! :P

I'm living as hermit and Im thinking in dividing the skills in two characters.

My idea was,

One character, full nature, full civilization, farming, cooking, carpentry, (survival(?treeplant's?)). As for attributes some INT, DEX. Basically a farmer/crafter that stays home!

Second character, full industry, full barbarism, sewing, smithing, exploration, marksmanship, Ucombat. Atributes, STR, some AGI, some CON, lot's PER, some PSY?! Explorer/miner?!

You have way more experience than I! Your thoughts, care to share?!

No one uses the global chat in game?!

Sure it makes alot of sense to have 2 chars splitted as hermit in that way - one point in being a hermit is you'll discover soon that both chars need to be jack in all trades only difference is personal beliefs ... ;) Study the RoB Wiki a lot to see what attributes you need to craft the different things i.e. sewing mostly comes in combination with DEX etc.

Prolly the "global chat" irc channel haven2 is not much frequented as low player count and most ppl chat on their village and party chats or use Skype...

I'd get PSY on your crafter rather than your explore/miner since PSY affects things like jewelry

Hmm I see

And for starter“s what number in attributes, skills do I need to reach first? I'm starting with the farmer first beacuse it's the most obvious choice!

For example I'm farming in 35q soil. And beguinning to plant some seeds. For now now I have 20 farming and 17 survival (with the nettle cloth +7).

Cooking and carpentry are still 1 and 120k LP to spend!

Edit: Wipeout that flour on your sig are really 154q?!

well you play the game yourself so prolly you should experience something yourself - having everything pre-chewed does not taste as good

and there's enough pre-chewed here at forums or at RoB Wiki already ;)

What I've found works best is to have a 'combat' char, and a 'non combat' char.

So, STR, PER, AJG, CON, all the UAC and MC and you can get, and some explore on one guy. Maybe smithing too, since smithing is also affected by strength.

And everything else on your other guy, who NEVER leaves the walls.

That way, when you do die on the combat guy, you still have the crafter to help build another combat guy.

I'm not joking about never leaving the walls. I have 150uac on my farmer/crafter just to be sure though... just incase
