Blank Screen on Launch

Postby Kid_Icarus » Mon Mar 25, 2013 12:40 am

I just downloaded H&H but I cannot get it to do anything. I double click it but all I get is a blank screen. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Java, deleting Java cached applications and applets and restarting the app. Nothing is working. I am on a Mac running OS 10.7.5, Java 7u17. Not sure what else to to do. :?

Hi, thx. I did search the forums and forgot to mention that I had already tried re-enabling the Apple-provided Java SE 6 web plug-in and Web Start functionality by following the instructions from the link in that post. After doing so when I launch the app I just get a prompt that reads "To open this Web Start application, you need to download the Java Runtime Environment." If I then reinstall I'm back to square one..

Well, I finally discovered this page which which had a download that worked:

viewtopic.php?f=5&t=17147&start=0#p197672

Not sure if this is what I was supposed to do originally? Before I clicked the "Play" button at the top of the webpage and was opening the "autohaven.jnlp" file that downloaded to my computer..
