Attribute question

Postby overtyped » Thu Apr 04, 2013 7:37 am

I'm wondering what time people stop getting certain statss when they are leveling for pvp. For example how much agility or con or str is the best to stop at, and after a certain point which stat do you raise while keeping all other stats the same?

Also when it comes to UA combat, how much UA is the best cutoff point?

This is the chart I currently use for pvp. If anyone has any of their own charts please link for reference.

intelligence 30) (Con 30) (agility 30) (strength 30)
intelligence 45) (Con 45) (agility 45) (strength 45)
intelligence 60) (Con 60) (agility 60) (strength 60)
Con 70) (agility 70) (Strength 70)
Con 80) (agility 80) (strength 80)
Con 90) (agility 90) (strength 90)
Con 100) (agility 100) (strength 100)
Strength 500)
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

I agree with your attributes and I say UA has no cutoff point, get as much of that shit as you can get and maybe 100-ish melee and a good sword, and then you're off to PvP

You are probly more experienced then me Overtyped but i normaly stop at around 150 ish agility and 200 cons as for Strength i keep leveling that as im sure you all do as much as i can. UA on the other hand mostly i stop and go full martial around 400 but im not a UA player so im not sure what every one else does.

No, seriously, eat your Ring of Brodgar donuts like there is no goddamn tomorrow. I would even hazard to say that, with sufficient steel armor to protect against arrows, agi is a better stat than con is. I get it, con is health, but if you are beating the fuck out of your opponent's agi you are attacking at 120% speed while they are at 80% speed. As long as they aren't just 1 shotting your defense bar, you're going to win.

My suggestion is that you rush a character to get started. Lets say 400ua/200mc or 400mc/200ua and 200stats with maybe 500str. Once you have it ready stop grinding it and move all your effort to characters you won't stop grinding until your current one dies.

Not that I've ever grinded so far, but I'm guessing this is the right way to do it. Better have multiple characters with your proposed stats than one supercharacter, that is still very much killable, no matter your stats.

In my opinion you shouldn't stop grinding your spare chars just because they are at 400mc/200ua/200stats. If you keep grinding the spare chars eventually you will have a supercharacter AND you will have the experience to handle it properly.

Con 90) (agility 90) (strength 90)
Con 100) (agility 100) (strength 100)
Strength 500)

I stop constitution at 150 and keep raising agility/charisma/strength at the same rate.

I never stop raising UA and I get 1/3 of my UA in MC (including bonuses from items)

I think the question really depends on how good your curio and food supply is, i.e. how long it will take you to remake the character, and also your particular butthurt:work lost ratio... Its obviously pretty different if you are getting 100k or 1million lp per day.

I got to 400agility before going all out strength, I stopped con and charisma at about 270 or so i think.. The great thing about strength is that if/when you die, your next char can use it, and its also stupidly easy to raise. I get 2ua:1mc for some reason.
