"protecting own base"

funny how guides says make an brick wall and make an brickwall.

YE brickwall would be fucking awesome to get to give a even brief moment of breath , BUT the problem is like our village which has been fully online for a week with few members in it. gets paliwall up means grieffers will start to visit our place , how we can get brickwall up since we are getting theft off all our goods. Now again i need to build Bram to bash our doors down since it seems key is missing.

You lost the key? Okay, you're doing something seriously wrong here if the key is ever not in the inventory of an alt or at the very least a prominent village member. Never just Leave the key around.

Step 1) When you construct the wall gather the resources necessary to begin immediate construction and time it so that when the initial post dries in 8 hours someone will be there to construct the wall.

Step 2) Getting the steel you need for a brickwall might take some time. Focus on getting a village claim up first if you do not have easy access to a mine. Store the key on an alt and never log into this alt after that. Instead utilize crossroads to teleport into and out of your wall.

Step 3) Gather resources necessary to trade for the steel and other resources that you need to begin your first brick cornerpost.

Step 4) Put people on brick burning duty and try to meet daily quotas. Store bricks in brickwall cornerpost signs. Do not build the bricks into the cornerpost. This is for storage purposes and each signpost can hold 300 bricks for you. Get enough so that when you begin construction you won't have to stop until you're done.

It's also worth noting that without even a palisade the griefers would have done even more damage.

if you don't have the materials to construct a brickwall id suggest you simply buy the items. there are many traders and small towns which will be more than happy to provide people with the materials.

We're a bigtown and even now when I need to build brickwalls I would just buy the materials rather than wait on steel to be done. and for 20 points, which is what wall grade steel is costing it's not a bad deal.

If you are getting griefed to death, I would really check where u've settled, because although a brickwall is great, if ure in a bad location you will get random idiots, shooting at you, trying to ram you, sitting outside cr or gate etc etc. Location in this game is probably the most vital thing before settling down and building a town or brickwall.

good luck
