Has anyone found a good beehive to crop tile ratio?

Wait, is that true? Each hive only affects one tile?

not true at all. they effect the green radius shown when you place one to build it. i put a beehive on each corner of my 8x8 fields, personally.

Well I've heard that each "tick" of a beehive pollinates a tile and causes it to grow faster. I'm not sure how often beehives tick but to be the most efficient a 1:1 ratio would technically be fastest.

Anyone confirm or deny?

I recently read the best ratio is 1:8 so crops grow fastest. So i have 4 beehives for a 6x6 field. They grow fast put not nearly as fast as before the nerf.

I just have 1 beehive per 5x5 field. It does the job and the plant is usually fully grown next day (IE, I plant it at 5pm on Tuesday, on Wednesday it is done when I get back from school at 3:30pm).

As far as I know there isn't any change using one or two hives for the tiles they cover.
