I forgot, but...

... do you still earn LP for every kill you do on animals? I just got back into the game on a new character and found a pack of mouflons. Do I still get 200LP for every kill or does that not apply anymore?

Nevermind, I just killed one and I got nothing out of it.

That kind of sucks... Makes me want the old LP system back, at least in some manner.

The new lp system is in all aspects of the game. LP farming animals was the worst and was a big part of why there were 3m lp murder characters within a few hours of w4. Not to mention it meant there were dead animals everywhere for no reason.

Wasn't there a previous "First kill" LP gain though? I could of sworn in W5 when I killed something for the very first time, I would earn LP. Never again after that. Could be my imagination of playing W3 and W4 so much though..

The old system: There wasn't any. It was the normal LP gain if it is an animal or 1% base LP of a killed hearthling's total gained LP.

New system: You probably received LP for discovering a new item, probably skinning or butchering it.
