Survival doesn't have a cap.
300 survival is required for troll bones so that you do not cap the bones.
However as the world is old, there are probably domesticated animals above 300 that would requrie more survival.
In most cases it will be capped by the cutting tool you have. here is roughly how it works:
(QAnimal + Q(Cutting Tool))/2 = Q_Max
If Q_Max is greater than survival the following equation is applied.
(Q_Max + Survival) / 2
Otherwise its the Q_Max.
