Wax and wurst

I can't eat the wilderness wurst I made? Also when will my beehive yield wax? All I'm getting is honey.

you right click, harvest, to get wax..
its seperate from the way you collect honey.

Agreed. I can't seem to harvest Beeswax at all (yes, I do have candlemaking). I can get honey just fine.

I can. It may be linked to the fact that my beehives are in immediate vicinity to my crops. You get a green circle denoting the "range" of the beehive when you place it - maybe the amount of plants in that range also affects the rate of beeswax gathering?

i think wax takes a lot longer then honey btw, so its probly just taking longer then you expect.

yeah you nee crops growing near. I experience this myself with my first hive.

Indeed. They're right in the middle of my crops. It's been about two IRL days, though, and no wax. Nighttime is getting annoying, and running out of torches...

It took a few days for my hives to start producing wax, three or four, but now I'm getting wax daily.

The wonderful wilderness wurst fills like, 50% of your meta-hunger bar. If you're not in the very hungry stage, you probably won't even be able to eat it. It really, really fills you up.
