Multiple characters

So i've decided to split up duties of my main character and level up another few. I live as a hermit and want to try to keep the number of characters as low as possible. Can you give me some tips on how to build them better? My current plan as follows:

1st char.: farmer-crafter that stays behind walls all the time (farming, sewing, dexterity (for various clay objects and clothes), carpentry). Full nature belief.
2nd char.: miner (strength+smithing). Full industry belief, after getting about 60-70 points in smithing I plan to go full tradition.
3rd char.: adventurer-explorer (perception+exploration to discover forageables, survival (to pick those forageables and skin-butcher animals, also for roasting meat), cooking (as it synergizes well with perception), marksmanship (for hunting with a sling)

Miner I don't see a reason why he would go full traditional (unless you get a lot of cave-ins or you fight with him or something)
Just go full traditional on your fighting main.
Ah yes, the 3rd/fourth char should be a fighting char in case you get attacked.

You got the basics down, but you should also make a shit alt for brickslaving, checking dangerous areas, wall checks, talking to visiters when they come. You don't want one of your 'mains' doing that so just make a simple character with the ability to make kilns and maybe bw signs for bricks.

Also your crafter is going to need psy, A lot of crafting requires psy, That and perception depending on what kind of crafting you are going to be doing.

Id suggest getting 200str+ on miner too if you plan on mining level 5. I myself prefer making a fresh spawn with thanes and a bear cape for mining then use another character for smithing so if you do get a cave in then it doesnt hurt you both ways.

What Dill said.

Use a fresh spawn with thanes and a bear cape for mining the higher levels (don't forget to have him full industry)

With thanes + cape + amulet you can almost get 200str from fresh spawn
Or even with forge rings you can get close to 150, and 70 smithing
