Determining Stat Bonuses [Solved]

Hello. Based on the information I have gathered from the wiki, stat bonuses provided by items are calculated by the following equation:
(Stat bonus at q10) * sqrt(ql / 10)
Am I correct? I want to know before I go spend my hard-earned flotsams on foraging gear.
