Questions about mining again.

Thank you Borka for locking my topic before other players had a chance to include their input.

I have heard and tested myself that pick quality increases your ability to mine better than a stone axe does, aside from mining faster and consuming less stamina. I was told that picks are x3 better, and x5 better, but it's difficult to determine the hardness of a node without increasing your strength 1 at a time and testing out the node from there. So I was wondering if there was any further, solid, reliable information as to whether picks do infact accumulate your mining ability better, and if so, by how much. (barring mining faster, and less stamina drain.)

Unless things have change the only benefit of a pickaxe is faster mining. Its the faster part that causes less stamina not so much the pick its self. It is no better than a stone axe of equal quality only faster. I tried both last world. If you have a higher q stone axe than a pick try it you might be surprised.

mining ability is sqrt(str * tool q). pick is faster than axe.
