Declaiming a PClaim

How does this work exactly? Is there anything specific you need to do other than just build a village idol next to the claim, light it, then declaim it? Also, do you have to leave your current village in order to make a village idol, or would you only have to leave briefly in to light the idol, declaim it then rejoin the village?

If you are lawspeaker on a village, and your village claim covers a private claim, if your village's authority suffices, you can use the "Revoke the privilege" under Government or something. You must be standing on that claim, click on revoke privilege and leftclick the private claim idol.
Then you can do anything you want (join another village, destroy village claim, anything)

http://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/Authority wrote: Lawspeakers may revoke personal claims inside the village claim, at a cost of about 250 authority per square of the personal claim.
