How do I?: Mine a Node that is in the Middle of a River...

As you may see, I found a node, however, it is in the middle of the river!

How do I mine this out? Can i build a mineshaft close by and hope there are nuggets to build supports?

As well, prospecting only works like 1/5 of the time. This is far less reliable than I remember! How can I make is more consistent? I'm using q20+ extract

the node is right next to the eastern shore, if u draw lines of the cake slinces you will see how close it is

Well HasseKebab it is my lucky fucking day. I went inland about 500 tiles randomly prospecting. The only time it worked I found a new node! And, I was standing right on top of it haha

Any cave entrances near by? That's what i would look for in that case - if you're lucky a cave way leads right to node ...
