Cows aren't eating from food trough?

Or at least, their info card isn't representing it. The food in the trough is better than 10 and although there are grassland tiles nearby they're supposed to prefer the trough aren't they? My cow had a calf that came out better than q10 on some stats so I presume that they are eating the food but it's not showing on their info card. Either way something isn't right

I don't think it informs a poster if their post is moved. So it showed up in help and he got confused that it wasn't in the original forum he intended.

Thanks for your help, I did do a search but obviously my search skills suck. It's still strange to me considering I've had the cows for about a week but I guess they just don't get hungry
