[Solved]Why Can't My Friend Find Cloth Making underCrafting

She has just acquired Cloth making, but she has no access to the Cloth Making section under the main crafting section. I even checked myself. "I" do possess the section, even though I don't have the cloth making skill. I even made my sprucecap hat under that section on my character. Can someone help a poor noob out?

You have to discover the materials first.
Even if you have cloth making you cant make the spuce cap without finding a bough and string first.

I put nettle in a cupboard and let her take it out. She didn't discover it or get awarded LP for doing so from what I saw. I want her to make nettle clothing, does that mean she actually has to go out and harvest it?

Does the stand discovery still work for items that can be placed in them? Been a while since I've played much, but that's how I got discoveries for my alts a while back.

don't have to buy. shift click an item onto a stand, then shift click it back into your inventory, and voila discovery!
