Chieftain to Lawspeaker Issue

Postby LostJustice » Mon Jul 01, 2013 2:23 am

Basically we got control over two villages. One character I have is Chieftain while our Lawspeaker left to claim the new village. I am trying to turn this Chieftain into the Lawspeaker of the old village and I can't seem to find a way to resign the position in order to claim the Lawspeaker of the old village. Does anyone know how to go about doing this?

Option two? Is there an option to give up the position?

I do think you have to leave the village if there is no current LS. Not sure there is an option for Chiefs to give it up. LS can touch idol to do it. Only other way is if LS assigns a new Chief. Anyone else know a better way?

There must be a Lawspeaker to revoke your position as chieftan, that is the only way to drop the status and remain in the village.

Make an alt, oath it to the village, have the chieftain leave the village, and become the LS. Problem solved.

problem not solved, you make an even bigger problem.

if you aren't a member of a village you can't take LS if village has a certain amount of authority(50k?) so you either need a 2nd chief to invite you back after leaving, or an alt with law speaking skill that you can invite to the village and take ls position...once your alt is ls you can leave the village invite yourself back with that alt, resign that alt from ls, then take ls with your character that was formerly chief!

It's impossible to promote chief directly into lawspeaker.

Leaving the village would work but you'd need a temporary lawspeaker to invite you back.
Another way is to have a temporary lawspeaker name a different chief, then renounce lawspeaking so you could take it.

Either way, if you currently have no lawspeaker you're gonna need an alt or another person take lawspeaking of the village to take care of this problem.
